Dear 2023 Emerald Coast Cup Participants,

I wanted to reach out and express my sincere gratitude for your patience, concerns, and understanding about the cancellation on Thursday of the 2023 Emerald Coast Cup. I understand the amount of time, travel, and money involved in planning travel for a tournament, and we want to express our sincere apologies for any inconvenience and disappointment caused by this cancellation.

I also want to extend a special thank you to SNAP Soccer for their professionalism, timely guidance, quick action yesterday, and dedication to the youth soccer industry. The SNAP & FC Dallas Emerald Coast tournament team had been following all week the weather forecast for April 29 & 30. Multiple facility calls and discussions were held on Wednesday and Thursday before making the final decision to cancel Thursday afternoon. We had hoped for better weather conditions, but unfortunately, the report did not improve. The safety of tournament players and their families is our top priority.

We know that you were looking forward to the tournament, and we want to assure you that we did everything we could to make it happen. We appreciate your understanding and support during this difficult time. Please take advantage of the full credit offering to either of our two tournaments next year, Destin Soccer Rodeo, Sept. 30-Oct. 1, or Emerald Coast Cup in the spring of 2024. Details were also provided yesterday from SNAP Soccer regarding refund minus an administrative fee.

I understand that this may have caused some inconvenience and disappointment. However, I hope that you can take advantage of our offer and join us in one of our upcoming tournaments. We are committed to delivering the best possible experience for our participants, and we appreciate your continued support of FC Dallas Emerald Coast.
